They say, if you continue to carry out your duties towards the
society with a selfless commitment, recognition of your work is bound to
take place. Sh. Gautam Morarka has been working selflessly for the
welfare of the weaker sections of the society and for the development of
Jhunjhunu and Bijnor regions for many years now and has also played an
important role in spreading the message of harmony between different
communities and sections of the society.
That his extraordinary commitment to social service has not gone
unnoticed by the society was evident recently when Sh.
Gautam Morarka was chosen for the prestigious Indira Gandhi Sadbhavana
Award for his contribution to social development, peace and harmony. To
the people who know him closely, I came as no surprise because the drive, dedication, vision and enthusiasm with which
he has been spearheading a silent revolution of development has made a deep impact on the ground as well as inside the hearts of people.
 The
prestigious award was given away on in an august company of luminaries
such as Dr. GVG Krishnamurthy, former Chief Election Commissioner of India, Ch. Randhir Singh,
farmers eader & former Governor of Sikkim, Dr. HT Sangangian, and Mr. Harikesh
Bahadur, former MP & present Secretary of AICC.
The award was presented to Dwarikesh officials representing Sh.
Morarka by Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh, former minister of Parliamentary Affairs and
former Governor of Tamilnadu and Assam, during a national symposium and
award function on “Life & Works of Late Smt. Indira Gandhi” on 18th
November, 2011 organized by the Citizens Integration Peace Society, New Delhi.
It was in 1994 that Sh. Gautam R Morarka first
founded a charity organization to serve the people at the grassroots
level in Uttar Pradesh. With a passion to help people, he started
project after project to ensure that their basic problems are taken care
of and they don’t suffer due to lack of essential facilities and
services. After working for about a decade in Uttar Pradesh, he expanded
the scope of his social service activities to Rajasthan.
