Sewajyoti has also adopted a village called Badwasi in the Jhunjhunu district. As associated organization had earlier adopted a village named Rajjupura in the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh where it brought about significant change in the ground situation by running development projects on its own. Badwasi had been a backward village which lacked good roads, basic facilities, schools and educational awareness.

However, after Sewajyoti has now undertaken projects to develop good roads; construction of school building, post office and hospital. It is also helping people secure bank loans and running agriculture development and self-employment training programmes.

The organization had built kitchen sheds in 10 schools in villages of Jhunjhunu district costing an amount of Rs. 2.5 lakh. It also runs a water hut (pyaoo) during summers where cold water is provided to thirsty villagers and passengers. Rajasthan, being a desert state, attached much importance to charity work involving water. Shekhawati region, too, is a desert area where water shortage is very common during summers. The water hut is put up at the office of Sewajyoti in Nawalgarh.

Among the villages of Jhunjhunu district that have received Sewajyoti’s contribution in one way or the other are Mangsinghka, Ganeshpura, Johad Ki Dhani and Chopdaron Ki Dhani. The organization has also undertaken forestation programmes in Nawalgarh and has put forward a proposal to the district administration for extensive forestation in the area.

Sewa Jyoti has donated Rs. 12 Lakh for construction of Sh. Seth Radheshytam Morarka memorial 'Sharda Peeth Library' to help preserve invaluable transcripts, scriptures and documents presently collected in Dwarka (Gujarat). Sewajyoti was approached to help in this noble cause and the organisation decided to do everything it can, to preserve our religious and cultural heritage.
